Adjusting colour balance in RAW format images using Photoshop CS2

Using the image from the previous screen, we can open this RAW format picture using Photoshop and we get the following display.

The first two slider controls on the right are called 'Temperature' and 'Tint'. If I drag the temperature slider to the left, the image which was a hot orange becomes cooler, with more natural looking colours.

At this point the picture needs a little more work but I am happy with the colour balance. Below is the final image as it appears on my site. By clicking on the 'Calibrate' tab you can even reduce the saturation of individual colours, red, blue and green, reducing or increasing the strength of each.
